Event Locations

The featured location in our site photos is LaSiesta Resort, located oceanside at Mile Marker 80.2.

If you are unfamiliar with Keys terminology, “bayside” locations are on the west side of the islands and are more likely to offer sunset views. The “oceanside” locations are on the east side of the islands and more likely to offer an ocean breeze.

The initials “MM” indicate the U.S.1 “mile marker” location along the Overseas Highway and location addresses are based on these markers. As you enter the Keys in north Key Largo, just after the bridge, you are 106 miles from the end of US 1 in Key West. Key Largo runs thru Tavernier ending at Tavernier Creek Bridge at mile marker 90.7. In crossing the bridge, you are entering “The Villages of Islamorada” which runs through MM 75 below Lower Matecumbe.
